Katie Collins-Ihrke is the Executive Director for Accessible Resources for Independence, the Center for Independent Living in Anne Arundel and Howard County. The focus of the organization is to maximize the independence of people with disabilities, to allow them to enjoy self-directed, productive lives.

She earned her Master of Science in Management with a specialization in non-profits and associations as well as her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.

Katie has experience in direct support of people with disabilities, marketing and fundraising, as well as systems advocacy within local, state, and federal governments. As a passionate advocate of disability issues, Ms. Collins-Ihrke has expertise on issues such as self-determination, self-advocacy, and the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life.
