The RTP project team hosts open houses to provide more in-depth opportunities for members of the public to participate in each phase of the RTP plan development. Open houses bring participants into direct contact with the RTP staff members who are responsible for producing and analyzing the information that goes into the plan.
The Fall 2019 Open Houses are now complete. Please see the Resources Page to review all the materials presented.
On December 13, 2019, Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) will convene the sixth Commission Meeting of the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan (RTP). The RTP, to be completed by MDOT MTA by October 2020 in consultation with the Commission and BMC, will provide a 25-year vision for mobility and define public transportation goals for Central Maryland, including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, and Howard Counties, and Baltimore City
The RTP project team participates in pop-up events across the region, from early morning tables at transit stations to mid-day mall food courts and library movie nights.
